The company was founded in 2018 and is in Melbourne’s Camberwell district.

We have a modern office environment, a good social team environment and plenty of parking. There is a train station and tram downstairs, so the traffic is very convenient. We are a well-rounded accounting firm.

Andy Gao

Principle Accountant

He spent ten years at major accounting firm in Australia and founded PGY in Melbourne in 2018 with his business partner. As one of the founders of PGY, his vision was to help small and medium sized Australian businesses grow and build wealth for thousands of private clients. He has master degree of professional accounting from Monash University and is a member of CPA Australia and Institute of Public Accountants.

Today, more than a decade of experience has given him a rare depth of knowledge in advising clients on effective financial management — especially in the areas of property development, real estate and hospitality industry. All his clients offer highly personalized attention that cuts to the core of what they really need.

Based on this knowledge and close relationships with customers, he provides solutions that address each problem appropriately to ensure current and future financial growth.

Salvatore Pennisi

Principle Accountant

As one of the first members of the PGY team, Salvatore also has extensive knowledge of business structures, investments and pensions.

In addition to his role as principle accountant, Salvatore holds an MBA from Deakin University and is a certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Salvatore, for his part, believes that getting to know customers and helping them requires taking the time to make sure he clearly understands their broader life goals and works hard to create strong, long-term relationships. This enables him to create truly customized solutions for customers. With rich experience in corporate financial management in various industries, we are committed to providing customers with one-stop solutions to meet all customers’ goals.

Daniella Hu

Senior Accountant

Daniella has been a vital asset to PGY Accounting since joining in 2020. She has played a key role in fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment, effectively applying her skills to drive the growth and success of the company while ensuring client satisfaction.

Daniella graduated from RMIT University in 2018, earning a Master’s degree in Accounting. This academic journey, coupled with becoming a CPA Australia member, laid the groundwork for her analytical and critical thinking skills. She applies this comprehensive knowledge to strategically navigate financial challenges, ensuring optimal results for clients.

With over five years of hands-on experience, Daniella’s career spans various industries, from manufacturing to the service sector. This diverse exposure has honed her financial acumen and equipped her to expertly navigate the unique challenges inherent in different business domains.

Joyce Liu

Senior Accountant

Joyce Liu is a fully CPA-qualified accountant with over nine years of accounting and finance experience supporting Australian and global businesses. As a Senior Accountant at PGY Accountants, she specializes in taxation, financial reporting, and strategic cash flow management, helping clients confidently navigate complex financial matters.

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting & Economics) from Monash University and a Master of International Business from the University of Melbourne. Her career spans key roles in taxation, management accounting, and corporate finance, with expertise in property development, financial risk management, and high-level financial analysis.

With a strong technical background in MYOB, Xero, and SAP, Joyce combines analytical expertise with a client-focused approach. She is dedicated to delivering tailored accounting solutions, ensuring compliance, and optimizing financial performance for individuals and businesses alike.
